Description

These Air Fryer Crab Bites are crispy on the outside and packed with delicious crab meat and seasonings on the inside. Perfect as a party appetizer or a quick seafood snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, and red bell pepper.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls or patties.
  4. Place the crab bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each bite.
  5. Lightly spray the crab bites with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or canned lump crab meat for best flavor.
  • Chilling the mixture for 15-20 minutes before forming bites helps them hold shape better.
  • Serve with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or a squeeze of lemon.
