- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, and red bell pepper.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls or patties.
- Place the crab bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each bite.
- Lightly spray the crab bites with non-stick cooking spray.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or canned lump crab meat for best flavor.
- Chilling the mixture for 15-20 minutes before forming bites helps them hold shape better.
- Serve with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or a squeeze of lemon.
