Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
- After rising, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape into a ball.
- Place the dough on parchment paper and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Carefully place the dough (with parchment) into the hot Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
