A refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert, this Best Lemon Tiramisu features layers of zesty lemon mascarpone cream and ladyfingers soaked in limoncello syrup for a bright and creamy treat.

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfingers
- 1/2 cup limoncello liqueur
- 1/2 cup water
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Lemon slices or zest, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- In a shallow dish, mix limoncello and water.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the limoncello mixture and layer them in the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish.
- Spread half of the lemon mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with lemon slices or zest, if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust the amount of limoncello to your preference or substitute with lemon syrup for a non-alcoholic version.
- Tiramisu tastes even better after chilling overnight.
