Description

Boneless chicken wings are crispy, tender pieces of chicken breast that are breaded, fried, and tossed in a flavorful Buffalo-style sauce, perfect for parties, game days, or a tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
  3. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture. Repeat for a second coating.
  4. Let the coated chicken rest for 10 minutes to help the coating stick.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry chicken in batches for 4-6 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  7. In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix in hot sauce and honey (if using).
  8. Toss the fried chicken pieces in the sauce until well coated.
  9. Serve hot with celery sticks and dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese.

Notes

  • Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes as a healthier alternative.
  • Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes for a lower fat option.
  • For extra crispy wings, double coat with flour mixture.
