Description
Boneless chicken wings are crispy, tender pieces of chicken breast that are breaded, fried, and tossed in a flavorful Buffalo-style sauce, perfect for parties, game days, or a tasty appetizer.
Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Optional: 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture. Repeat for a second coating.
- Let the coated chicken rest for 10 minutes to help the coating stick.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken in batches for 4-6 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix in hot sauce and honey (if using).
- Toss the fried chicken pieces in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot with celery sticks and dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese.
Notes
- Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes as a healthier alternative.
- Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
- Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes for a lower fat option.
- For extra crispy wings, double coat with flour mixture.
