Description
A creamy, savory dip made with whipped feta, roasted red peppers, and herbs, inspired by Boshamps’ Southern-style appetizer.
Ingredients
- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley or dill), for garnish
- Pita chips or vegetables, for serving
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
- Add chopped roasted red peppers, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Pulse until well combined but slightly chunky.
- Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- Use high-quality feta cheese for best flavor.
- Dip can be made a day in advance and refrigerated.
- Add more red pepper flakes if you like extra heat.
