Description

A creamy, savory dip made with whipped feta, roasted red peppers, and herbs, inspired by Boshamps’ Southern-style appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or dill), for garnish
  • Pita chips or vegetables, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add chopped roasted red peppers, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Pulse until well combined but slightly chunky.
  3. Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh herbs.
  5. Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Use high-quality feta cheese for best flavor.
  • Dip can be made a day in advance and refrigerated.
  • Add more red pepper flakes if you like extra heat.
