Description
Brie, Apple, and Cranberry Grilled Cheese is a gourmet twist on the classic sandwich, featuring creamy brie, tart apples, and sweet cranberry sauce between crispy, buttery bread slices.

- 4 slices sourdough or artisan bread
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1 small apple, thinly sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer brie slices, apple slices, and 1 tbsp cranberry sauce.
- Top with the other slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place sandwiches in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing slightly, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Try adding a handful of arugula for a peppery bite.
- Use a panini press for even grilling.
- Can substitute goat cheese or sharp white cheddar for brie.
