Description

A rich and indulgent layered dessert made with fudgy brownies, creamy pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings, perfect for parties or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 batch of brownies (about 9×13 inch pan), baked and cooled
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Fresh berries for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the baked and cooled brownies into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the brownie cubes on the bottom.
  3. Spoon and spread half of the chocolate pudding over the brownies.
  4. Add a layer of half the whipped cream.
  5. Repeat the layers with remaining brownies, pudding, and whipped cream.
  6. Top with chocolate shavings or chips, and nuts or berries if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use store-bought brownies and pudding for a quick version.
  • Customize by adding caramel sauce or different types of pudding.
  • Can be made a day ahead for convenience.
