Description
A rich and indulgent layered dessert made with fudgy brownies, creamy pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings, perfect for parties or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 batch of brownies (about 9×13 inch pan), baked and cooled
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the baked and cooled brownies into 1-inch cubes.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the brownie cubes on the bottom.
- Spoon and spread half of the chocolate pudding over the brownies.
- Add a layer of half the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with remaining brownies, pudding, and whipped cream.
- Top with chocolate shavings or chips, and nuts or berries if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use store-bought brownies and pudding for a quick version.
- Customize by adding caramel sauce or different types of pudding.
- Can be made a day ahead for convenience.
