Description

A layered frozen dessert inspired by Dairy Queen’s Buster Bar, combining an Oreo crust, vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge, peanuts, and whipped topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Spanish peanuts
  • 1 jar (16 oz) hot fudge sauce
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed


Instructions

  1. Mix crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan and freeze until firm.
  2. Spread softened vanilla ice cream over the crust. Freeze until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  3. Spread hot fudge sauce over the ice cream layer. Sprinkle peanuts on top. Freeze again until firm.
  4. Top with Cool Whip and freeze until completely set, about 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Remove from freezer 5-10 minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use homemade fudge sauce for a richer flavor.
  • Let each layer freeze solid before adding the next to ensure clean layers.
  • Best served slightly softened for easier slicing.
