Description
A layered frozen dessert inspired by Dairy Queen’s Buster Bar, combining an Oreo crust, vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge, peanuts, and whipped topping.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 1/2 cups Spanish peanuts
- 1 jar (16 oz) hot fudge sauce
- 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
- Mix crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan and freeze until firm.
- Spread softened vanilla ice cream over the crust. Freeze until firm, about 1-2 hours.
- Spread hot fudge sauce over the ice cream layer. Sprinkle peanuts on top. Freeze again until firm.
- Top with Cool Whip and freeze until completely set, about 2 hours or overnight.
- Remove from freezer 5-10 minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Use homemade fudge sauce for a richer flavor.
- Let each layer freeze solid before adding the next to ensure clean layers.
- Best served slightly softened for easier slicing.
