- 1 (15.25 oz) box cake mix (any flavor)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Optional mix-ins: 1/2 cup chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles, or candy pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cake mix, eggs, and oil until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in any desired mix-ins.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop dough onto prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes, until edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.
- Allow to cool on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
- For firmer cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Roll dough balls in sugar or cinnamon sugar before baking for a sweet crust.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
