Description

Mini cheeseburgers made with juicy beef patties, melted cheese, and soft slider buns – perfect bite‑sized comfort food.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Pickles, ketchup, mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Form 12 small patties, each about 2 oz, slightly wider than buns.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium‑high heat, then cook patties 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  5. Place patties on a baking sheet, top each with half a cheese slice, and transfer to oven for 1–2 minutes to melt cheese.
  6. Meanwhile, split slider buns and brush insides with melted butter (and Dijon mustard if using).
  7. Toast buns in oven for 2–3 minutes until golden.
  8. Assemble: bottom bun, cheeseburger patty, pickles, ketchup/mustard, top bun.
  9. Serve warm, ideally on a platter or with toothpicks to hold together.

Notes

  • Make‑ahead: patties can be formed and refrigerated a few hours ahead.
  • Variations: swap cheddar for pepper jack or Swiss cheese for a taste twist.
  • For juicier sliders, avoid overworking the meat when mixing.
  • Use Hawaiian sweet rolls for a softer, sweeter slider experience.
