Description

Rich and creamy cheesecake bars with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for a simple yet indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla, sour cream, and salt until fully combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  8. Cut into bars and serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is softened to prevent lumps in the batter.
  • Chill thoroughly for clean cuts.
  • Add fruit topping or chocolate drizzle for variation.
