- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp simple syrup or to taste
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and salt or sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
Instructions
- If rimming glasses, rub a lime wedge around the rims and dip into salt or sugar. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine cherries, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Add a handful of ice and blend until smooth.
- Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a cherry or lime wedge if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- Adjust sweetness with more or less simple syrup depending on your cherries’ tartness.
- Use frozen cherries for a slushier texture without needing extra ice.
- Add a splash of soda water for a lighter version.
