A creamy and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken breast and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a hearty dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for 6–7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove and slice.
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, cooking until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute fettuccine with any pasta of your choice.
- For added flavor, use grilled or blackened chicken.
- Add steamed broccoli or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
