- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley until well blended.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Spoon about 2–3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Tightly roll up each crescent from wide end to point, tucking in edges to seal.
- Place rolls point-side-down on the prepared baking sheet with space between.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush crescent rolls with melted butter before baking.
- Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
- Make ahead and refrigerate before baking; add 2 extra minutes to baking time if chilled.
- Substitute mozzarella or pepper jack for cheddar to change the flavor profile.
