Description

Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with seasoned shredded chicken and cheese—a quick and delicious appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley until well blended.
  3. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon about 2–3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Tightly roll up each crescent from wide end to point, tucking in edges to seal.
  6. Place rolls point-side-down on the prepared baking sheet with space between.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush crescent rolls with melted butter before baking.
  • Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate before baking; add 2 extra minutes to baking time if chilled.
  • Substitute mozzarella or pepper jack for cheddar to change the flavor profile.
