Ingredients
Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper

- Lime wedges
- Extra cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Marinate the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade, toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
- Grill the Shrimp: Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers if using. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and lightly charred.
- Serve: Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For indoor cooking, use a cast iron skillet or grill pan.
