  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place pieces evenly over the apples.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then stir in oats.
  5. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the cinnamon rolls and apples.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
  7. Drizzle with the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls before serving warm.
