Description

A rich and flavorful Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta made with succulent shrimp, tender pasta, and a creamy garlic parmesan sauce. Perfect for a quick yet indulgent weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
  8. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until evenly combined and heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken broth with white wine for added depth.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
