- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
