Description

Creamy Garlic Shrimp with White Sauce is a rich and flavorful seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp cooked in a luscious, garlicky cream sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an elegant meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
