Description

A quick and easy take on the classic spaghetti and meatballs, this creamy version features tender meatballs in a rich, creamy tomato sauce served over spaghetti. Perfect for weeknight dinners!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Shape into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and heated through.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and stir to coat with sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked spaghetti. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken as a lighter alternative to beef.
  • Use store-bought meatballs for an even quicker version.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
