Description

A creamy, flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken bites sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine and coat the pasta with the sauce.
  8. Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the chicken with shrimp for a different protein option.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Be careful not to overcook the chicken to keep it tender and juicy.
