- 1 package of pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 12 even strips.
- Take each strip and tie it into a knot, placing each one on a greased baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough knots.
- Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some additional Parmesan on top after baking.
- These garlic knots are best served immediately while warm.
- If you prefer a spicier version, you can increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
