Description

Garlic knots are soft, buttery, and flavorful dough twists brushed with garlic butter. These savory knots are a perfect appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 12 even strips.
  3. Take each strip and tie it into a knot, placing each one on a greased baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough knots.
  6. Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some additional Parmesan on top after baking.
  • These garlic knots are best served immediately while warm.
