Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
  • Ingredients required for cake mix (usually eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1/2 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 oz candy melts or chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles or decorations (optional)
  • Lollipop sticks


Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  3. Add frosting and mix until the texture is similar to cookie dough.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or freeze for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Melt candy melts or chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
