Description

Easy Chicken Divan is a creamy and comforting casserole made with tender chicken, broccoli, and a cheesy sauce, all baked to perfection. It’s a quick and simple dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the steamed broccoli evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Layer the shredded cooked chicken over the broccoli.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. Spread the mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh broccoli with frozen if needed.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Add a dash of curry powder to the sauce for a flavor twist.
