Easy Chicken Divan is a creamy and comforting casserole made with tender chicken, broccoli, and a cheesy sauce, all baked to perfection. It’s a quick and simple dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the steamed broccoli evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Layer the shredded cooked chicken over the broccoli.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Spread the mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh broccoli with frozen if needed.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Add a dash of curry powder to the sauce for a flavor twist.
