Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes (optional) and cut them into thin, even-sized fries.
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Toss the dried fries in olive oil, salt, pepper, and any desired seasonings.
- Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
