- 4 large croissants, sliced in half
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon or breakfast sausage patties
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if toasting sandwiches.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Pour in eggs and scramble until fully cooked but still soft. Set aside.
- Assemble sandwiches by layering scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon or sausage onto the bottom half of each croissant. Top with the other half.
- Place sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and croissants are warm and slightly crisp.
- Serve immediately, or wrap in foil for an on-the-go breakfast.
