Description

A fresh and colorful mix of chopped fruits served with cinnamon sugar chips. Perfect as a healthy snack, party appetizer, or light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fruit preserves (strawberry or raspberry)
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup cinnamon sugar (mix of cinnamon and sugar)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the kiwis, apples, strawberries, raspberries, white sugar, brown sugar, and fruit preserves. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Brush both sides of flour tortillas with melted butter. Cut into wedges and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Place tortilla wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Let cool.
  6. Serve the fruit salsa chilled with the cinnamon chips for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute or add other fruits like mango, blueberries, or peaches.
  • Best served the same day it’s made for freshness.
  • Use store-bought cinnamon pita chips as a shortcut.
