Description
A fresh and colorful mix of chopped fruits served with cinnamon sugar chips. Perfect as a healthy snack, party appetizer, or light dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- 1 cup raspberries
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons fruit preserves (strawberry or raspberry)
- 10 flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup cinnamon sugar (mix of cinnamon and sugar)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the kiwis, apples, strawberries, raspberries, white sugar, brown sugar, and fruit preserves. Mix gently to combine.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush both sides of flour tortillas with melted butter. Cut into wedges and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Place tortilla wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Let cool.
- Serve the fruit salsa chilled with the cinnamon chips for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute or add other fruits like mango, blueberries, or peaches.
- Best served the same day it’s made for freshness.
- Use store-bought cinnamon pita chips as a shortcut.
