Description

These easy fudgy Oreo brownies are rich, chocolatey, and packed with chunks of Oreo cookies. Perfect for a quick dessert fix or to impress at parties.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (45g) chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth and slightly fluffy.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Oreos and chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Top with a few more chopped Oreos if desired.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Do not overbake for the fudgiest texture.
  • Use double-stuffed Oreos for extra richness.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
