Description
A simple and refreshing homemade popsicle recipe using fruit juice and fresh fruit—perfect for cooling off on a warm day.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fruit juice (orange, apple, or mixed)
- 1 cup fresh fruit, chopped (berries, peaches, or pineapple)
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
- Popsicle molds and sticks
Instructions
- Pour the fruit juice into a mixing bowl. Stir in honey or sugar if using until fully dissolved.
- Evenly distribute the chopped fresh fruit among the popsicle molds.
- Pour the juice mixture over the fruit in each mold, leaving a small gap at the top for expansion.
- Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
- Freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or until completely solid.
- To unmold, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and gently pull on sticks.
Notes
- Use any juice or fruit combination you like—get creative!
- For creamier popsicles, substitute half the juice with yogurt or coconut milk.
- You can layer different colored juices for a striped effect.
- Freeze on a level surface for best results.
