- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup baby spinach or bok choy
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the wontons to the pot and cook according to package or recipe directions, usually 4-5 minutes, until they float and are fully cooked.
- Stir in spinach or bok choy and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
