Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup baby spinach or bok choy
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the wontons to the pot and cook according to package or recipe directions, usually 4-5 minutes, until they float and are fully cooked.
  4. Stir in spinach or bok choy and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until wilted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
