- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini M&Ms
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the milk and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.
- Fold in the mini M&Ms and chocolate chips if using.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, or fruit for dipping.
Notes
- To heat-treat flour, bake it at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or microwave in 30-second intervals until it reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- You can swap M&Ms for your favorite candy pieces or sprinkles.
