Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry and set aside.
- In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add ginger and white pepper.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and let the soup simmer until slightly thickened.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl. Slowly drizzle them into the simmering broth while stirring gently to create egg ribbons.
- Add sesame oil and adjust seasoning with salt or soy sauce if desired.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
