- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for strawberries)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening strawberry layer)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix well and press half into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
- Fold in half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the cream cheese layer over the graham cracker crust.
- In a separate bowl, mix sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar and let sit for 10–15 minutes to macerate. Optionally, cook with cornstarch over low heat to slightly thicken and cool completely.
- Spread the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping.
- Sprinkle remaining graham cracker mixture on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly whipped cream instead of whipped topping for a homemade touch.
- Chill longer for firmer layers.
- You can substitute fresh strawberries with strawberry pie filling for convenience.
