Description

Fresh Strawberry Yum Yum is a delicious no-bake dessert made with layers of buttery graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and sweet strawberry topping. Perfect for spring and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for strawberries)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening strawberry layer)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix well and press half into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
  3. Fold in half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Spread the cream cheese layer over the graham cracker crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar and let sit for 10–15 minutes to macerate. Optionally, cook with cornstarch over low heat to slightly thicken and cool completely.
  6. Spread the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  8. Sprinkle remaining graham cracker mixture on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly whipped cream instead of whipped topping for a homemade touch.
  • Chill longer for firmer layers.
  • You can substitute fresh strawberries with strawberry pie filling for convenience.
