Description

A refreshing summer cocktail made with juicy watermelon, fresh mint, lime juice, and rum for a cool and fruity twist on the classic mojito.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and deseeded
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprig and watermelon slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shaker or glass, muddle the watermelon cubes, mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar (if using) until well combined and juicy.
  2. Add the white rum and fill the glass with ice.
  3. Shake well or stir to mix.
  4. Top with club soda and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of watermelon before serving.

Notes

  • Use seedless watermelon for ease and convenience.
  • Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of the watermelon.
  • Make it a mocktail by skipping the rum and adding more club soda or a splash of lemon-lime soda.
