- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 1 tablespoon triple sec
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Optional: lime slices and whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Place in the freezer to set while you prepare the filling.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and lime zest until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Freeze the pie for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream before serving, if desired.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and triple sec with orange juice.
- Use store-bought graham cracker crust for a quicker option.
