Description

Frozen Margarita Pie is a refreshing, no-bake dessert with a tangy lime flavor and a hint of tequila, perfect for summer gatherings or a cool treat on hot days.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 1 tablespoon triple sec
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Optional: lime slices and whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Place in the freezer to set while you prepare the filling.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and lime zest until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Freeze the pie for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  8. Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and triple sec with orange juice.
  • Use store-bought graham cracker crust for a quicker option.
