Description

Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a flavorful, quick, and easy dish combining succulent shrimp, al dente pasta, and a rich garlic butter sauce with hints of lemon and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
  5. Deglaze the pan with white wine or chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything well.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
