- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl or jar, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, and lemon juice.
- Add Dijon mustard, honey, and minced garlic. Mix well.
- Stir in oregano, basil, onion powder, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Whisk or shake the mixture until fully emulsified.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake before each use.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Use fresh herbs instead of dried for a more vibrant flavor.
- Let the dressing sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
