Instructions
- Place frozen peas in a colander and rinse briefly under cold water to loosen any ice crystals.
- In a medium saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil and heat over medium heat.
- Add the peas to the pan and stir to coat with the butter or oil.
- Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peas are heated through and tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook the peas, as they can become mushy and lose their vibrant color.
- Feel free to add herbs like mint or dill for extra flavor.
- You can also microwave the peas with a bit of water for 2–3 minutes as a quicker option.
