Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley if using.
- Serve warm over your desired dish.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best flavor.
