- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/2 cup guacamole (optional)
- 1/2 cup salsa (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook ground beef until browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- On a large sheet pan, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.
- Top chips with seasoned beef, black beans, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with tomatoes, onions, olives, jalapeños, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side if desired.
