A flavorful and easy-to-make salmon dish glazed with a sweet and tangy maple mustard sauce, perfect for a healthy dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Brush the maple mustard glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
- Pair with roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
- You can substitute maple syrup with honey if desired.
