Description

A flavorful and easy-to-make salmon dish glazed with a sweet and tangy maple mustard sauce, perfect for a healthy dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Brush the maple mustard glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
  • You can substitute maple syrup with honey if desired.
