A rich, tangy tomato-based sauce that’s perfect for topping meatloaf, adding moistness and flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and vinegar.
- Whisk until sugar is dissolved and ingredients are well blended.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush half the sauce evenly over the meatloaf during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Use remaining sauce to serve alongside or drizzle on top when serving.

- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne or chili powder.
- Make ahead and refrigerate—flavors meld beautifully overnight.
