Description

Mint Magic Bars are a delightful twist on traditional seven-layer bars, combining chocolate, mint, and creamy condensed milk over a cookie crust for a rich and refreshing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped Andes mints or mint chocolate candies
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, chopped Andes mints, shredded coconut, and nuts (if using) evenly over the milk layer.
  5. Gently press down with a spatula to help the toppings adhere.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set.
  7. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Use mint extract if you don’t have mint candies — about 1/2 tsp mixed into the condensed milk.
  • These bars store well in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Try using chocolate graham crackers for an extra rich base.
