No Bake Peanut Butter Bars are an easy, decadent dessert featuring a creamy peanut butter base topped with a rich chocolate layer. Perfect for quick treats without using the oven.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) salted butter, melted
- 1 cup (120g) graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups (240g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (280g) creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 cup (180g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons peanut butter in 30-second increments, stirring between, until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Use creamy peanut butter for best texture; natural peanut butter may separate.
- Bars can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week or frozen for up to 2 months.
- Gluten-free graham crackers can be used as a substitute.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance flavor if using unsalted butter.
