Description

Quick and easy one-bowl microwave scrambled eggs—perfect for a fast, protein-rich breakfast made in under 2 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk (or water)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp butter or oil (optional)
  • Optional add‑ins: shredded cheese, chopped herbs, diced veggies

Instructions

  1. Crack eggs into a microwave‑safe bowl. Add milk (or water), salt, pepper, and butter (if using).
  2. Whisk vigorously until mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Microwave on high for 30 seconds.
  4. Remove and stir with a fork, breaking up curds.
  5. Return to microwave and cook additional 20–30 seconds, then stir again. Repeat in 10‑second intervals until eggs are softly set.
  6. If using cheese or herbs, sprinkle on top and let sit 30 seconds to melt.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Microwave wattage varies: adjust timing accordingly—lower wattage may need slightly longer cook times.
  • For creamier eggs, add a splash more milk or a small pat of butter.
  • Don’t overcook—eggs will continue to firm up after microwaving.
  • You can customize with chopped veggies, ham, spinach, or other fresh ingredients.
