- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
- Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes to coat the chicken well.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for quicker, more even cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or a green salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
