Description

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken legs in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, dried basil, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken legs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Optional: To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir into the sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
