- 1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups uncooked penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place frozen meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour marinara sauce and beef broth over the meatballs.
- Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Stir in uncooked pasta, cover again, and cook on high for an additional 30-45 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Use any short pasta like rotini, penne, or ziti.
- Check pasta after 30 minutes to avoid overcooking.
- Can be made with homemade meatballs if preferred.
