Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 4 oz smoked salmon, flaked
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add fresh dill and smoked salmon, stirring gently to combine. Heat through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
