Description

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk

Additional:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy.
