Description

A delicious and easy-to-make meatloaf recipe using Stove Top stuffing mix for added flavor and texture. Perfect for a hearty family dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix (6 oz)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and water. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb the liquid.
  3. Add ground beef, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
  4. Mix everything together until fully combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  6. Spread a layer of ketchup over the top for extra flavor and moisture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add chopped onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • Leftovers make great sandwiches the next day.
