- 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix (6 oz)
- 1 cup water
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and water. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb the liquid.
- Add ground beef, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
- Mix everything together until fully combined. Do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- Spread a layer of ketchup over the top for extra flavor and moisture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add chopped onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
